The Milaca Arts Center (MAC) is run by the Milaca Fine Arts Council (MFAC) a non-profit organization that has been producing art events in the Milaca area since 2005. The first Milaca Arts Center opened in 2008 in what was then the old Lines Law Office on Central Avenue in Milaca. We held many art shows, musical events, and book readings in that quaint space. The first MAC closed in 2009 due to the expansion of the grocery store. Without any space, MFAC continued to produce events in the area like Music in the Park, the Spring Student Art Show, and House Concerts. We opened the current Milaca Arts Center in 2012. We are located at 170 2nd Ave. SW in Milaca. This building is owned by the city and is a shared space with the Milaca Senior Center (MSC). Most of the MAC events take place in the evenings or on weekends, which is the opposite of the Milaca Senior Center hours. We hope to see you at our next event!
MEET OUR MFAC BOARD
The Milaca Art Center is committed to bringing quality art, art education, and events to our community. We do this through art shows, classes, concerts and events like Music in the Park.
Join us in February, March, and April for our Second Saturday Art Shows and Concert Series from 7-10:00pm. Meet local artists and musicians, socialize with community, and sample gourmet delights.
We love ART! We support all mediums of ART and enjoy sharing this love with the community.
We are a dedicated team of community members, artists, and educators committed to building a strong creative presence in our local community.
We love to learn and we want to share that love with you through classes that explore many art mediums.
